AC and Carolyn didn’t do much for their honeymoon. Money was tight, life was busy. However, when their 1-year anniversary approached, they knew they wanted to do something special. AC had done some cycletouring as a lad including in the British Isles and suggested that to his lovely bride. They researched the possibilities and came across CycleWest and proprieter, Fidelma Ray. From here in 2024, they’re delighted to see the business still operating. Ultimately, while money was still tight, they took the time to celebrate their 1-year anniversay on bicycles touring western Ireland. While it had its challenges, here 21 years later, it is still a fond highlight of their time together. AC journaled a bit at the time and captured notes.
